Device ID changes after Sync

Hello!

Currently I am using BirdieSync in the test version. Syncing with TB works excellent without problems. But I discovered that after each sync the device ID of my mobile (HTC Touch HD) changes. Originally I named the device "TouchHD_..", and after the sync it changes in "HTC##", where the # stands for a number that also changes every time.

Could anyone tell me why the ID does not remain as it is defined for default by me?

Hello Oli,

BirdieSync doesn't modify the device id. I saw that other users had similar problems on the net. Maybe you could find a solution in this thread.

Hey Birdy, you are the BEST!!!

This little underscore caused the problem! After renaming the device, the ID doesn´t change any more.
