From Outlook to Thunderbird

I am afraid my questions have been yet asked a lot of time, but I could not find the answer yet.
1) What about compatibility between PDAPhone
HTC Touch, BirdieSync and
Outlook 2000
Does Birdie sync do better than MS ActiveSync 4.2 whose compatibility begins only with Outlook XP ?
2) I guess that BirdieSync is actually compatible with Thunderbird. Do You confirm ?

Hello,
BirdieSync only synchronizes with Thunderbird, Lightning and Sunbird. So it will not synchronize your mobile device with Outlook 2000.
It is compatible with the HTC Touch.
So you may try to synchronize your mobile device with Thunderbird.
Before doing any testing, don't forget to backup your data...

J'ai téléchargé Birdiesync et tente de l'installer mais l'installation s'arrête rapidement en me demandant de connecter le mobile à l'ordinateur ce que je fais; mais le mobile n'est pas reconnu par l'ordinateur, activsync envoie un message d'erreur et l'installation ne se fait pas... comment faire???

Je suis absolument désolée...
Je n'avais pas vu votre post, deux lignes au dessus, qui explique tout très bien : le simple fait de modifier la gestion de connexion USB a tout décoincé.
