Thunderbird AddOn (115) does not connect automatically

Hi,
I have been using BirdieSync now for many years happily, and I still do so. So, thank you for providing this very helpful piece of software.
Since I installed the last update 3.2.7.0 - after Thunderbird got automatically updated to now 115.3.3 - I have been experiencing a problem I never had before: The AddOn in Thunderbird starts up as usual, but it doesn't connect with the server (on the same computer). The only way to have the AddOn connect is deactivating the AddOn and then reactivating it again. After this small manual procedure, it connects and behaves as usual.
I am using Win10, the server starts automatically, Thunderbird is started manually and BirdieSync AddOn with it.
All other devices seem to cennect properly without intervention.
I'd appreciate some help and I am willing to provide more information when needed.
