SYNCHRONIZATION IMPOSSIBLE

Birdiesync was working fine for a long time. Now it says "Impossible to connect to 192.168.0.102". In Thunderbird 52.2.1 under Birdiesync, there is now only "single source connected" where there used to be two.

What's going on?

Hello jeffbon,
Birdiesync was working fine for a long time. Now it says "Impossible to connect to 192.168.0.102". In Thunderbird 52.2.1 under Birdiesync, there is now only "single source connected" where there used to be two.
BirdieSync app on your mobile device (Android or iPhone) may have problem connecting to BirdieSync server. There are several possibilities:

If you updated BirdieSync on the PC and have a firewall different from Windows default one, new version of BirdieSync.exe may not be authorized to accept incoming connections. So you may check in your firewall if BirdieSync is properly authorized to accept incoming connections.

If you entered the IP address "192.168.0.102" in BirdieSync app Settings on your mobile device, as the server address, you may check if it is still the current IP address of the server (it may change for instance if you reconnected your PC to your router or rebooted it). The IP address of BirdieSync server on the PC can be checked with menu "Connection/Server address...".

If your mobile device is connected via Wi-Fi, you may also check that your mobile device is connected to the correct Wi-Fi network of your local router (check the SSID/name of the Wi-Fi network your mobile device is connected to).

You may also try to reboot your local router (caution: it may change the IP address of your PC).
