iPad - Thunderbird sync. contacts only
I tried to make alle setting from pc -> iPad but Birdiesunc will delete 32 contacts. I can't believe I deleted them on the iPad.
1. How can I see what contacts are to be deleted?
2. Why delete if the settings are to have PC leading?
Thanks
How to avoid deleting contactes
Re: How to avoid deleting contactes
Hello ItH,
If for all your address books you selected "From PC to mobile device" for the "Synchronization way" (in Thunderbird BirdieSync settings), then no writing operations will be performed on the address books.
This warning may be displayed even if the address books are read-only (synchronization way set to "From PC to mobile device") which could be misleading. Presently there is no way to know which contacts are impacted. This should be improved in a next version of BirdieSync.
In any case, ensure to have a recent backup of your data as described in this faq entry.
Do you also synchronize an iPhone with BirdieSync ?
Thanks.

Which versions of BirdieSync do you use (BirdieSync window, menu Help/About) ?I can't believe I deleted them on the iPad
Do you also synchronize an iPhone with BirdieSync ?
Thanks.
