Twice I've discovered that Birdiesync has been removed after I successfully installed it. Today I found out that it was Norton Internet Security that removed it for "suspicious behavior." I was installing the latest version, Birdiesync 2.4.0.0. What's going on? I've been using Birdiesync for almost a year without any problem like this.
I have Thunderbird 12.0.1 and I'm on Windows 7 64-bit.

I got the same problem , that birdie.exe is deleted by Norton 360
Go to Norton History and restore the Birdie .exe and klick on exclude by scanns ...
So it works for me , no virus or something , i think its because by syncing with my smartphone
it starts Thunderbird und creates files in it ... Norton is carefully with this stuff.

Thanks, DeroN! That did the trick. My Birdiesync didn't go away today.
