At the moment and concerning to the German Thunderbird v 5:
Birdiesync does not work together with Thunderbird 5.

You can check this, while starting the update process: These ad-ons will be shown by Thunderbird, which are not compatible.
Unfortunately Birdiesync 2.3.2.2 is also in the table. :?

Hello alibaba & Peter,

Another thread was already opened on that topic.
Thunderbird 5.0 was officially released on last tuesday. A new version of BirdieSync supporting this version should be available very soon. Last tests are being performed.

BirdieSync 2.3.4.0 beta version supporting Thunderbird 5.0 has just been released and is available in the Download section of the web site. :)
If you have an Android device, please update to the last version available on the Android Market.
Read the release notes in the News forum and ensure to have a recent backup before installing this new version.
Please report any problem you may find with this beta version.
Thanks.
Birdy
