Birdiesync time-out accessing Google Calendar

Post by DocWRX »

Thanks for a good piece of software. I like it, but I'm having a stupid little problem:
I can successfully sync contacts, and tasks with a local default calendar, and in the past synced Google network calendars OK with no problems, but I now get a "Birdiesync is taking an unusual amount of time to sync with calendar "S". Please ensure the calendar is well accessible.... Disconnect your device and reconnect to restart synchronization..." message. I'm not getting any events on a new calendar I added, and I'm not able to propagate events back from the handheld to Lightning and Google.

It almost seems like it's a firewall issue, but disabling the firewall makes no difference. I also don't have a calendar named "s", although I have several that start with "Scott's ......". I also don't remember changing anything in the interim except upgrading from version 1.6.4.0.

I'm using Thunderbird 2.0.0.6, Provider 0.7, Vista Home premium, and Birdiesync 1.6.5.0 with an HTC WM6 Touch.
Should I roll back to the prior version? Did I do something wrong with the upgrade?

Scott.
