Version 1.4.0.1

Bug corrections:

- BirdieTransfer.exe could not be launched properly leading to an "attention required"

Version 1.4.0.0

You must uninstall the previous version of BirdieSync before installing this new one.

Changes:

- Mail synchronization. Please refer carefully to the documentation to know more about it
Although BirdieSync was heavily tested, please, do backups of your Thunderbird or Sunbird profile !
- Possibility to install BirdieSync as an administrator and run it under a restricted user account. If several users share the same computer, they will have their own BirdieSync options.
- A new evaluation period of 21 days is available to test this new version of BirdieSync

Bug corrections:

- Connecting the device and launching the synchronization could lead to an "attention required" message.
- On some systems, when Thunderbird or Sunbird were already running before the synchronization, a popup window with "Thunderbird is already running, but is not responding" could be displayed and the synchronization could end with an "attention required"
- On some windows Mobile 5.0 devices, updates of objects were not taken into account
- The first time a category of items was selected in ActiveSync option window, synchronization could take an abnormal amount of time
- Sometimes, pressing the "Sync" button in ActiveSync button could not launch the synchronization
- Floating events and tasks (not attached to a particular time zone) were not properly synchronized. There were differences of time between the desktop and the device.
- If an all day event was spanning on several days, it was not properly synchronized
- An unresolved item could occur if in a series, an occurence was modified from all day event to an events with start and end times or the contrary
- In a recurring series, if an alarm was set on an occurence that could occur before the beginning of the previous occurence, an unresolved item error happened.
- In some cases, setting alarms in tasks could lead to unresolved items.
- If two instances of the main window of Thunderbird or Sunbird were launched, communication errors could happen.
- An unexpected behavior of the device synchronization part could happen
- If an error was returned during the update of an object on the desktop, it was not properly handled and could lead to further problems in synchronization
- The button "Choose Sunbird application path" was not working properly
