Re: Thunderbird 102 (final) officially starts today
@Birdy, there seems to be some mix-up of 3.6.0.0 and/or 3.2.6.0. It installs 3.2.6.0 and then endlessly keeps updating to 3.6.0.0 while in fact re-installing 3.2.6.0.

Re: 3.1.0.0b1 unable to read Thunderbird contacts & events
I only use Birdiesync to sync my addressbook. I have just upgraded to 3.1.0.0b1 (after paying the next fee) - and it simply says that it cannot access my addressbook... Sending the log archive in a minute.

Re: Thunderbird 6
With the new accelerate development cycles, probably it would less frequently happen that there are significant changes in terms of their affect on Birdiesync. A related issue that I would find very useful would be if the Birdiesync add-on in TB updated automatically. Thanks Birdy!

Re: USB connection for Android sync
Thanks Birdy, this was really fast. My phone is running Android 2.2 but you were right about the error message only appearing on the mobile. This has been improved: my phone now manages to connect to BirdieSync and an error message is displayed both on the mobile device as well as the PC. However, m...

USB connection for Android sync
Birdy, I am very happy that now BirdieSync should work over USB as well. My problem is that I actually could not make it work. I have a HTC Desire HD and my HTC Sync is installed. As the HTC Sync works, I think I have the drivers on my computer. I also updated the IP of the BirdieSync server. I have...
Re: Androïd
Great job Birdy, thanks! How will the upgrading work (from 2.1)? I changed my laptop and my mobile - is my previous key still valid? Will there be a possibility to sync via USB - I am connecting my mobile anyway, to work with my files; therefore it would be convenient. To the contrary, I almost neve...

Exchange sync
There is now a provider for Exchange server as add-on for Thunderbird/Lightning and Sunbird. This means that I can see the Exchange calendar as one of my calendars - only now I cannot sync it. Actually I am not sure what would happen if I synced my Lightning calendars (which are mostly Google calend...

Thunderbird 3.1
As of today, Thunderbird 3.1 is in a release candidate status. I would love to use it as they introduced the quick filter to complement the more robust but usually not so useful Gloda search - will Birdiesync soon be compatible with this release? I know that Sunbird/Lightning is still to get into a ...

Re: Support for 0.9pre
yes but the calendar-timezones.xpi (the module handling the timezones starting v0.9) is still not ready and, i guess, it could be quite important for proper sync. but don't worry, the final version should be released in cca 2 weeks. last time Birdy released his new version the same day the final rel...

it can be done
i have found a way around the problem of having all emails synced: simply define another account on your ppc that syncs separately from birdiesync, define it as imap, and allow your ppc to have data access via your pc when it is online. now there is only one additional issue: i have several calendar...
