Re: Very long sync times

Hello Tranas, You said that you transferred Thunderbird profile to another computer. Was it a profile already synchronized with BirdieSync ? Did you copy this Thunderbird profile to the other computer ? Do you synchronize several Thunderbird sources with BirdieSync ? Do you synchronize a local calen...

Re: Synchronize several Thunderbird Address Books with iPhone

If you wish to synchronize several address books in Thunderbird and be able to create new groups on the iPhone, then it would be necessary to select a non Exchange account as the default contact account on your iPhone, like "On My iPhone" or "iCloud". But note that if you do so, when you create a ne...

Do you have other possible choices th...

Re: Synchronize several Thunderbird Address Books with iPhone

Even if I couldn't see the address books that you set ON for your iPhone, I guess Main address book "No group" was set ON (synchronised with Main address book "berufliche Kontakte" in Thunderbird), and "Sonstige Kontakte" was set ON (synchronized with "Sonstige Kontakte" in Thunderbird). BirdieSync ...

Re: Synchronize several Thunderbird Address Books with iPhone

Hello slengfe, I have set the contact configuration to the one which should be able to sync TB several address books to one iPhone address book. Re: Sync Preview Information Can't Be Deleted

Hello dennisbrennan, If you want that the "Preview of operations" window is not displayed at the beginning of each synchronization, click on the "magnifying glass" button on the right of the synchronization progress bar, or untick menu "File/Preview operations". But note that by default, if you are ...

Re: Groups

I'm not familiar with the add-on you mention. If it writes to the usual contact category field in Thunderbird local database and doesn't have its own way of storing contacts or contact category, then the following may apply: Usually if you want to synchronize Thunderbird categories to Android, it is...

Re: Groups

Hello pewe,

When you talk about "categories" for contacts in Thunderbird, do you mean the "Category" fields which is not available by default in Thunderbird user interface ? Do you use a specific add-on to access to this field for each contact ?
Thanks.

Re: Deleting Calendar on Android Birdiesync Account

The way to remove calendar is mentioned in BirdieSync Help (BirdieSync menu "Help/Help...") in section "Configuration/Android accounts", paragraph "Remove calendars". But I admit it may be easy to miss or not easy to find, and there is not suggestion on how to activate the menu button if not present...

Hello cescop If you want to remove a calendar that you no longer use or synchronize, on the Android device, in BirdieSync app: - Ensure that BirdieSync app on the Android device is not connected to BirdieSync server (otherwise the operations in the menu will be grayed out) - Press the physical Menu ...

Re: End date before start date on Lightning

Hello Bulldoghynds57, Right after the synchronization, and while your mobile device is still connected (this is important to be able to retrieve its logs), could you please build a log archive with BirdieSync menu "Help/Archive logs..." and send BirdieSyncLog.zip to support(at)birdiesync.com ? Could...

Re: Two users with common calendar

Presently, BirdieSync is more designed to run on a single Windows user account, with possibly 2 Thunderbird profiles (one for each user) on this single Windows user account. I'll first describe this procedure, even if it's not your specific configuration but it may give some hints. By default Birdie...

Re: Two users with common calendar

Hello Håkan,

So each of you has its own independent Thunderbird profile, stored in its own Windows user account ?
Thanks.
